As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our computer networks and systems in Funchal. Your main duties will include installing, configuring and maintaining hardware and software systems, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data security. Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and maintain computer networks and systems
- Monitor network performance to ensure smooth operation
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure data security by implementing regular backups and security measures
- Collaborate with other IT team members to identify areas for improvement
- Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in the field of networking and systems administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Prior experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Familiarity with operating systems like Windows Server, Linux/Unix
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Solid understanding of security principles and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese (preferred)
- Biometric passport is required for this role

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.
