Handyman for Property Maintenance in Svalbard

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our property maintenance team in the beautiful city of Svalbard. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the upkeep and repair of our properties. This includes but is not limited to basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify any maintenance needs
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, changing light bulbs, painting, and other general repairs
- Install and repair fixtures such as cabinets, shelves, and door handles
- Troubleshoot and fix minor electrical and plumbing issues
- Keep track of inventory levels for necessary tools and supplies
- Communicate with property managers to coordinate maintenance schedules and tasks
- Follow all safety regulations while working on properties

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance tasks
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Norwegian is a plus)
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if needed
- Valid driver's license (preferably from Norway)

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 900$ per week for this full-time position. In addition, we provide visa sponsorship for non-Norwegian nationals who are selected for this role.
