Remote Land Surveyor
Location: Ar-Ruwais, Kenya
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team on a remote basis. As a Remote Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine property boundaries, mapping the terrain for construction projects, creating topographical maps, and providing accurate measurements for engineering and development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various instruments and techniques
- Analyze survey data to create detailed maps and reports
- Utilize GPS technology to accurately determine locations and measurements
- Communicate with clients, engineers, and other professionals to understand project needs and requirements
- Manage surveying equipment and ensure proper maintenance and calibration
- Follow all safety protocols while conducting surveys in various environments
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements in technology, and changes in regulations related to land surveying
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a land surveyor
- Proficiency with surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in remote locations
- Valid driver's license
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
