Merchandiser for Retail Store in Bayan, Kuwait


A well-established retail store in Bayan, Kuwait is seeking a highly motivated and organized Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the store's merchandise is displayed in an attractive and organized manner, maintaining inventory levels, and assisting customers with their purchases. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing displays of merchandise throughout the store
- Ensure that all merchandise is properly priced and tagged
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Assist customers with their purchases and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with the buying team to determine which products should be featured in displays
- Monitor sales trends and make recommendations for changes to displays or promotions
- Keep track of sales numbers and make adjustments as needed to maximize profitability
- Communicate any merchandise or supply needs to the appropriate team members
- Help with store promotions or events as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Previous experience in retail merchandising preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently but also collaborate with a team
- Proficient in basic math and computer skills; familiarity with inventory systems a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
