Electrical Engineer - Malindi, Kenya



We are a leading engineering firm in Malindi, Kenya seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining electrical systems and components. You should have a strong understanding of electrical principles and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in the field and who is fluent in English. Accommodation will not be provided, so we prefer candidates who are already based in Malindi or willing to relocate immediately. This is an urgent job opportunity with a salary of $1800 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain electrical systems and components
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure quality control
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with other engineers and professionals on projects
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical engineering
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and components
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Knowledge of relevant software programs (CAD, MATLAB, etc.)
- Willingness to travel for project assignments if necessary
