Crane Operator

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Greenland. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and controlling cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials or objects. You will also be required to perform routine maintenance on the crane and ensure its safe operation at all times.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator
- Valid crane operator certification
- Experience operating various types of cranes (e.g., tower, mobile, overhead)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to crane operation
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes safely and efficiently while following all safety regulations.
- Inspect crane equipment before each shift, reporting any defects or issues.
- Monitor load weights and communicate with other team members to ensure safe lifting operations.
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane as needed.
- Keep accurate records of daily operations, including load weights and materials moved.
- Communicate effectively with team members using hand signals or radio communication.
- Follow safety procedures when working near power lines or other hazards.
- Ensure proper rigging techniques are used for lifting loads.
