Game Developer - Remote Contract Position (Clairvaux, France)



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Game Developer to join our team on a remote contract basis. As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and implementing gameplay features and mechanics for our upcoming game. You will work closely with our creative team to bring their vision to life and ensure a high-quality gaming experience for our players.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and artists to develop game concepts and mechanics
- Write efficient, organized, and maintainable code in C++ or other programming languages
- Implement gameplay features such as controls, AI, physics, audio, etc.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth gameplay experience
- Optimize game performance for various devices
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies in game development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a Game Developer
- Proficient in C++ or other programming languages used in game development
- Strong understanding of game design principles and mechanics
- Experience with Unity or other game engines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing games for mobile platforms (iOS/Android)
- Knowledge of 3D graphics programming (OpenGL/DirectX)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Passion for gaming and staying up-to-date on industry trends

This is a remote contract position with the possibility of extension. The salary for this role is $1400 per month. Accommodation will be provided during the duration of the contract.
