Construction Manager for International Projects
As a Construction Manager for our international projects, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects in various countries. Your duties will include planning, budgeting, coordinating and supervising activities related to the construction of residential and commercial buildings. You will be working closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project schedules, budgets and resource plans
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders
- Monitor progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Identify potential risks or issues and implement proactive solutions
- Ensure quality control by reviewing plans, specifications, materials and workmanship
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders and progress reports
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients and other stakeholders
- Provide leadership to project teams by setting goals, delegating tasks and mentoring staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in managing construction projects
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and construction methods
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse teams
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6
- Ability to travel internationally as required
- Fluency in English is preferred
