Barber for Canadian Salon

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber to join our Canadian salon team in Mombasa. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts and grooming services to our diverse clientele. This is a contract position with the added benefit of visa sponsorship for non-Canadians.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of haircuts, styles, and grooming services for clients of all ages and hair types
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and provide recommendations based on facial shape, hair texture, and lifestyle
- Keep up-to-date with current industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and offer the latest services
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sterilization of tools and equipment
- Process payments and book appointments using our salon software system
- Build strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and return visits

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed Barber
- Strong technical skills in cutting, styling, shaving, and beard/mustache grooming
- Knowledge of various hair types, styles, products, tools, and techniques
- Excellent communication skills with ability to listen to clients' needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be willing to relocate to Canada if not already living there
