Waiter/Waitress in a Fine Dining Restaurant

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus, make recommendations, and take orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages to guests according to established standards
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Process payment transactions and maintain cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill special requests or accommodate dietary restrictions
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors
- Assist with setting up tables for reservations or special events
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a fine dining restaurant is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including wine pairings
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
