IT Manager

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the information technology department and ensuring that all systems and processes are running smoothly. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and make recommendations for improvements to enhance the efficiency of our company's operations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all IT operations, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and protection
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of computer systems
- Train employees on how to use new software or hardware systems
- Monitor system performance to ensure optimal functioning
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide solutions
- Develop disaster recovery plans in case of system failures or data breaches
- Manage the budget for IT expenses, including hardware purchases, software licenses, and maintenance contracts

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, security protocols, and databases
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical employees
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach towards identifying potential issues before they arise
- Ability to manage a team of IT professionals
- Experience managing budgets
- Familiarity with data protection laws
