Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Biometric Passport Specialist

As an Electrical Engineer - Biometric Passport Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing biometric passport systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of biometric technology into our passport systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop biometric passport systems, including hardware and software components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient integration of biometric technology
- Conduct research on industry standards and regulations related to biometric technology
- Test and troubleshoot biometric systems to ensure functionality and reliability
- Develop documentation and provide training for end-users on the use of biometric passport systems
- Stay updated on advancements in biometric technology and make recommendations for improvements to current systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with biometric technology and passport systems
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to biometrics, such as ISO/IEC 19794, ICAO 9303, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, etc.
- Experience with hardware design and development for electronic devices
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (candidates with EU citizenship preferred)

Salary: $1600 USD per month (negotiable based on experience)
