Android Developer


We are a dynamic and rapidly growing tech company based in Sheduva, seeking a highly skilled Android Developer to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile applications for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Android platform and experience with Java or Kotlin programming languages. You should also have experience with mobile development frameworks such as React Native or Flutter. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and visa sponsorship opportunities for international candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable code that is scalable and well-documented
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile application development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience as an Android Developer
- Strong understanding of the Android platform and its core components
- Proficient in Java or Kotlin programming languages
- Experience working with mobile development frameworks such as React Native or Flutter
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to backend services
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices for mobile application development
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing complex applications that have been successfully released on Google Play Store
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment

Salary: $1600 (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Sheduva, Kenya (visa sponsorship available for international candidates)
