Information Security Analyst
Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Siauliai. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's sensitive information and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. You will work closely with our IT team to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement effective security measures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. This is an urgent role that requires someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within our systems
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Investigate incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends in order to proactively prevent potential attacks
- Train employees on security best practices and conduct regular security awareness training sessions
- Work with vendors to ensure the security of third-party systems and applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects related to data protection, privacy, compliance, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of information security principles, best practices, and industry standards (e.g. ISO 27001)
- Experience with network scanning tools such as Nmap or Nessus
- Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), encryption methods, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR) is a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH) are preferred
