Elevator Installer and Maintenance Technician



We are seeking an experienced Elevator Installer and Maintenance Technician to join our team in Akron. As an Elevator Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems in residential and commercial buildings. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and physical strength.

Responsibilities:
- Install new elevator systems according to blueprints and specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and computer systems of elevators
- Perform regular maintenance checks including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustment of parts
- Respond to service calls for emergency repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed including time spent, materials used, and parts replaced
- Communicate with clients to explain necessary repairs or upgrades
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and safety standards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in elevator installation/maintenance preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Elevator Installer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanics, hydraulics, and computer software/hardware related to elevator operations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary: $1200 per month

Location: Akron (preference for Indians)
