Experienced Turner for Machine Shop in Clairvaux

We are seeking an experienced Turner to join our machine shop in Clairvaux. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools and equipment to produce precision metal components. You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Turner in a machine shop setting and be proficient in reading technical drawings. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month, without accommodation. Applicants must have the right to work in Canada or be willing to relocate on their own. Fluent English is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and correct any issues with the machines or finished products
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner in a machine shop setting
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of different metals and their properties
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
