Merchandiser Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Merchandiser Specialist to join our team in Svalbard. As a Merchandiser Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing merchandising strategies to promote our products and increase sales. You will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure that our products are displayed effectively in stores and online. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive analysis. This is an urgent position with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate. Salary for this role is $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive product awareness and sales
- Collaborate with marketing team to create visually appealing displays in stores and online
- Conduct regular market research to stay informed on consumer behavior, trends, and competition
- Analyze sales data to make recommendations for product placement and pricing strategies
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production team to ensure timely delivery of products
- Communicate regularly with retail partners to ensure proper display of products according to brand guidelines
- Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Attend trade shows and conferences to stay updated on industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or similar role
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive analysis
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with retail partners
- Proven track record of driving sales through effective merchandising strategies
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to travel for trade shows or other events as needed
