Junior Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Database Administrator to join our growing team in La-Condamine. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring they are secure and running smoothly. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and updates
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement database solutions
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as data optimization and schema changes
- Assist in the creation of database documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems such as MySQL or Oracle
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Previous experience in database administration or related field
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases such as AWS or Azure
- Understanding of data analytics and reporting tools
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
