We are a multinational retail company looking for a Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising plans in line with company objectives and budgets
- Conduct market research to identify customer preferences and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including buying, marketing, and operations to plan product assortments
- Analyze sales data to understand product performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
- Negotiate with suppliers for pricing, promotions, and product availability
- Create visual displays and layouts that enhance the customer shopping experience
- Train store staff on product knowledge, merchandising standards, and customer service

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser in the retail industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions based on findings
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative merchandising plans
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms from suppliers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Sharjah. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not already residing in Sharjah.

Preference:
This position is open to all nationalities. However, preference will be given to Malayalees (people from Kerala) as well as foreigners who do not require English proficiency for the job. Accommodation will not be provided but free visa and ticket will be included.
