Senior Pastry Chef - Doha, Qatar


We are currently seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Senior Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality desserts and pastries for our restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate pastry chef to showcase their talents in a dynamic and growing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new dessert and pastry recipes that align with our restaurant's concept and customer preferences
- Supervise and train pastry staff members, ensuring consistent quality of all products
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operation of the pastry kitchen
- Collaborate with other chefs to create dessert menus that complement the overall dining experience
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into menu items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from recognized culinary institution preferred
- Extensive knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety procedures
- Proven ability to develop new recipes while also maintaining consistency in existing menu items
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate pastry staff members
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus

Salary:
$1700 per month (tax-free) plus benefits such as housing allowance, medical insurance, annual flight ticket home, etc.
