Carpenter - Al-Khor, Qatar


We are a well-established construction company based in Al-Khor, Qatar and we are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team of professionals. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Carpenter and be able to demonstrate their technical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials and dimensions needed for each project
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, doors etc.
- Inspect wooden structures for damages or defects and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting or waterproofing structures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time

Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Carpenter or in a similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, drills etc.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Indian nationality preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position.
