Librarian for Indian Community in Jeddah
As a Librarian for the Indian community in Jeddah, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library resources and services to meet the needs of the community. You will play a crucial role in providing access to information and promoting literacy among the Indian population living in Jeddah.
Your main responsibilities will include maintaining an up-to-date collection of books, magazines, and other materials related to Indian culture, history, and literature. You will also be responsible for cataloging and classifying materials, as well as assisting members with finding and borrowing items.
As a Librarian, you will also be expected to plan and organize educational programs and events that promote reading and learning among the Indian community. This may include book clubs, storytelling sessions, or workshops on various topics.
To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field. Previous experience working in a library setting is preferred but not required. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.
