Construction Project Manager



As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. Your main responsibilities will include planning, organizing, and coordinating all aspects of the project, including budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring quality workmanship. You will also be responsible for managing and supervising a team of construction workers and subcontractors to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage project schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Develop and monitor project budgets to ensure cost-effective completion
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the project
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment necessary for the project
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues that may arise
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Hire, train, and supervise construction workers and subcontractors
- Identify potential risks or delays in the project and develop contingency plans
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, materials, and equipment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications
- Experience with budgeting software or spreadsheets for cost management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate with contractors/vendors
- Knowledge of safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
