Office Assistant - Contract Position (Jizan, Egypt)
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Jizan, Egypt. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in an office setting and a biometric passport to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and sending correspondence
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders as needed
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Keep track of employee attendance and time off requests
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as needed using Microsoft Office
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing, etc.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office management or related field is a plus
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
This is a contract position for 6 months with potential for extension. The salary for this role is $1600 per month.
