Skilled Carpenter



As a skilled carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures on various projects in Salalah. Your main duties will include interpreting blueprints and drawings, measuring and cutting materials to specifications, shaping and smoothing surfaces, and assembling and fastening materials with nails, screws or adhesives.

To be successful in this role, you must have a high level of expertise in carpentry techniques and tools. You should also have a keen eye for detail and possess strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during projects. Additionally, you should have the ability to work independently or as part of a team under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine dimensions of structures
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut materials using hand or power tools such as saws, chisels or planes
- Shape or sand rough surfaces using hand or power tools
- Assemble wooden components using glue, nails or screws
- Inspect completed work for quality standards
- Repair or replace damaged wooden parts on existing structures
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a skilled carpenter
- Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools including power saws, drills, chisels, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing, bending, lifting heavy materials
and operating machinery
- Valid biometric passport (preferred)

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Salalah (must be able to commute or relocate)
