Merchandiser for Fashion Retail Brand in Muscat, Oman

We are hiring a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our growing team in Muscat, Oman. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing product strategies to maximize sales and profitability for our fashion retail brand. Your main duties will include analyzing sales data, forecasting trends, and collaborating with buyers and designers to create visually appealing displays that attract customers.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of the fashion industry and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Previous experience in merchandising or retail is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1200 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify customer preferences and buying habits
- Collaborate with buyers to select merchandise that aligns with company goals and customer demand
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or clearance of products
- Create attractive product displays that adhere to company guidelines
- Work closely with designers to ensure timely delivery of new collections
- Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and discounts
- Participate in sales meetings to provide insights on product performance and market trends

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in merchandising or retail (fashion industry experience is a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and forecast trends
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English; fluency in Filipino is an advantage
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
