A high-end restaurant in Nizwa is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries that will leave our customers wanting more. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining food safety standards in the pastry department.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts and pastries including cakes, cookies, tarts, and other sweet treats
- Develop new recipes and menu items while considering dietary restrictions and customer preferences
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies to maintain stock of necessary ingredients
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs to ensure consistency in quality and presentation of desserts
- Maintain cleanliness in the pastry kitchen and adhere to food safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to plan menus, coordinate orders, and ensure timely delivery of dishes to customers
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continually improve skills and offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation standards
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail when it comes to taste, presentation, and plating of desserts
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train junior chefs effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef
- Experience working with international cuisine is a plus
Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
