Crane Operator

We are hiring a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Nairobi. This position requires a candidate with experience operating cranes and a valid crane operator license. The ideal candidate will also have strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Read and interpret load charts to determine safe lifting capacities
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe operation
- Communicate effectively with team members and riggers to ensure efficient and safe movement of materials
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during operation
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and maintenance schedules
- Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:
- Valid crane operator license/certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes
- Ability to read load charts and blueprints
- Excellent communication skills in English (Hindi or other Indian languages are a plus)
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
