Professional Seamstress - Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Seamstress to join our team in Nairobi. As a Professional Seamstress, you will be responsible for creating high-quality clothing items according to client specifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and fit garments on clients to ensure proper sizing and fit
- Select appropriate fabrics and materials for each project
- Operate sewing machines and other tools to create clothing items
- Follow patterns and instructions to create custom designs
- Perform alterations and repairs on existing clothing items as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Meet deadlines for completing orders in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or similar role (at least 3 years)
- Excellent sewing skills with the ability to create complex designs
- Knowledge of various fabric types, patterns, and garment styles
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements and stitching
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients
