Computer Support Specialist


We are seeking a Computer Support Specialist to join our growing team in Vianden. This is a contract position and prior experience in a similar role is required. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues. You must have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users. This position requires someone who is customer service oriented and able to work well under pressure. Fluency in English is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Install and configure computer systems, printers, and other peripherals
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates and backups
- Document all support activities in a timely manner
- Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems
- Experience with remote desktop tools such as TeamViewer or LogMeIn
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Customer service oriented with strong communication skills
