Entry-Level DevOps Developer

Are you a recent graduate or self-taught coder looking to kick-start your career in DevOps? Our fast-growing tech company in Vianden is seeking an entry-level DevOps Developer to join our team. As an English-speaking company, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, including Kenyans, who are passionate about coding and eager to learn. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, perfect for individuals who want to gain experience while pursuing other commitments.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our senior DevOps team to design, develop, and implement automated processes for software delivery
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of our applications
- Continuously improve our existing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
- Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and optimize processes for efficient software delivery
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in DevOps and recommend new tools or strategies to enhance our workflows

Requirements:
- Strong foundation in computer science principles, specifically in coding languages such as Python or Java
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line tools
- Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g. Docker)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation tools such as Puppet or Chef
- Knowledge of source control systems like Git or SVN
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working on Agile teams

Salary: Starting at 1500$ per month (based on experience)

Location: Vianden, Luxembourg (remote work possible but must be able to work within CET time zone)

Note: This is an entry-level position open to candidates without prior work experience in DevOps.
