Finisher - Woodworking Specialist



As a Finisher - Woodworking Specialist, you will be responsible for the final stages of woodworking projects, ensuring that they are completed to the highest quality standards. You will work with various types of wood and finishes, using your expertise to create beautiful and durable finished products. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a strong understanding of different woodworking techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform final sanding and finishing on wood products according to specifications
- Apply stains, lacquers, varnishes, and other finishes using spray guns or brushes
- Repair any imperfections or blemishes in the wood prior to finishing
- Mix and match stains and finishes to achieve desired color and texture
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and used safely
- Quality control checks on finished products for defects or inconsistencies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finisher or similar role in a woodworking environment
- Proficient in using various hand tools such as sanders, brushes, spray guns etc.
- Excellent knowledge of different types of wood and finishes
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand specifications
- Attention to detail with an eye for precision and quality control
- Strong physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Education/Training:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training or education in woodworking techniques is preferred.

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Vianden (Indian nationals preferred)

Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Accommodation: Not provided (candidates must arrange their own accommodation)

Note: This job is suitable for freshers without prior experience in the field of woodworking. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
