Preservation Architect


We are seeking a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Remish. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings, structures, and sites. This role requires a deep understanding of architecture, history, and preservation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and assessments to determine the condition of historic structures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for restoration projects
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement preservation plans
- Research the history and significance of each structure to inform restoration decisions
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for restoration work
- Monitor progress of restoration projects to ensure adherence to preservation standards
- Provide expertise on appropriate materials and construction techniques for historical preservation
- Maintain accurate records of all preservation work and documentation on the history of each structure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in architectural conservation or historic preservation
- Strong knowledge of architectural history, building materials, and construction techniques used in different time periods
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in CAD software and other relevant design tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
