Carpenter for Contract Jobs in Sofia, Bulgaria

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting materials, assembling parts to create frameworks or structures, and using hand and power tools to shape and smooth surfaces.

Key Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Carpenter
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Good physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood pieces together according to specifications
- Install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, or windows using carpentry tools
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills or chisels to shape surfaces or edges
- Inspect wooden structures and fixtures for any damages or defects
- Repair or replace damaged parts as needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working on construction sites

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract Type: This is a contract job with the possibility of extension.

Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Accommodation: This is not a live-in position. Accommodation will not be provided.
