Insurance Claims Adjuster

As an Insurance Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims to determine coverage and liability. You will work closely with policyholders, witnesses, and other parties involved in the claim process. Your main goal will be to accurately assess the extent of damages and determine the appropriate compensation for the claim. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Additionally, you must have a thorough understanding of insurance policies and regulations in order to effectively handle claims. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims
- Gather relevant information from policyholders, witnesses, and other parties
- Analyze policy coverage and determine liability
- Evaluate damages and negotiate settlements with claimants
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claim activities
- Communicate with clients, agents, attorneys, and other professionals involved in the claims process
- Stay up-to-date on insurance laws, regulations, and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders throughout the entire claim process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Previous experience as an Insurance Claims Adjuster or in a similar role is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Knowledge of insurance policies, laws, regulations, and procedures
- Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
