Preservation Architect for Historical Buildings in St. Petersburg, Russia



We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in St. Petersburg, Russia. Our company specializes in the restoration and preservation of historical buildings, and we are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to help us continue our mission.

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for assessing the condition of historical buildings, developing preservation plans, and overseeing the restoration process. You will work closely with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that all restoration work is done according to preservation standards and guidelines.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
- Knowledge of local building codes and historical preservation guidelines
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and assessments of historical buildings
- Create detailed preservation plans including budgets, timelines, materials, and methods
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure proper implementation of plans
- Monitor progress of restoration work to ensure compliance with preservation standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of all restoration projects
- Communicate regularly with clients on project updates
- Research new materials and techniques for preservation
- Stay up-to-date on local building codes and guidelines for historical buildings

We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month as well as accommodation for non-local employees. We welcome applicants from all nationalities who have their own visa or are willing to obtain one. This is a part-time position that may require some weekend work depending on project deadlines.
