Preservation Architect

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. This involves conducting research, developing preservation plans, and overseeing the implementation of restoration projects. You will work closely with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that preservation efforts are carried out in accordance with historical standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to understand the historical significance and architectural features of buildings
- Develop preservation plans that outline the necessary steps for restoring and maintaining historic structures
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure preservation efforts meet historical standards
- Oversee restoration projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
- Conduct site visits to assess the condition of historic buildings and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
- Communicate with clients or stakeholders to provide updates on preservation projects
- Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and regulations related to historic preservation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect or in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of historical building materials and techniques
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze historical documents and blueprints
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to historic preservation
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: St. Petersburg (open to Indian nationals)

Employment Type: Contract position (with potential for long-term employment)

Visa Requirements: Must have valid work visa for Russia

Language Requirements: Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
