Android Developer

We are hiring an experienced Android Developer to join our fast-paced and innovative team in Vilnius. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. Your primary focus will be developing and maintaining high-quality code, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mobile development principles and experience working with various Android frameworks. This position is open to Pakistani and Kenyan candidates with a biometric passport.

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient code that meets project requirements
- Ensure high-quality performance of the applications
- Identify and fix bugs in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with new trends and advancements in mobile development
- Continuously improve application usability and functionality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven working experience as an Android Developer (at least 2 years)
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language
- Experience working with various Android frameworks such as Retrofit, Volley, etc.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of UI/UX standards for mobile applications
- Ability to write clean, efficient code using best practices
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with Kotlin programming language
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Published at least one original Android application on the Google Play Store
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
