Senior Architect - Washington, D.C., USA


We are seeking a highly experienced and talented Senior Architect to join our renowned architecture firm in Washington, D.C. As a Senior Architect, you will lead the design and development of complex architectural projects from concept to completion. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in creating innovative and functional designs that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process for large-scale architectural projects
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements
- Develop detailed drawings, plans, and models using software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Oversee a team of architects and designers to ensure project deadlines are met
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and provide guidance to construction teams
- Review and approve all design decisions made by junior architects
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in architecture

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an architect, with at least 3 years in a senior role
- Extensive knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction methods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other 3D modeling software
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
