Turner - Metal Machinist (Los Angeles)


We are hiring a skilled Turner - Metal Machinist to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various metalworking machines to shape and form metal parts according to specifications. You must have experience with manual and CNC machining, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

As a Turner - Metal Machinist, you must possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and good hand-eye coordination. You will work with a variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, and brass, using tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders. Safety is of utmost importance in this role, so you must adhere to all safety protocols at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate metalworking machines including lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine machining operations needed
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner or Metal Machinist
- Experience with manual and CNC machining
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work with a variety of metals using different tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Safety-conscious mindset

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Los Angeles (must be willing to relocate if not already residing in the area)
Employment Type: Full-time position (40 hours/week)
