Turner Supervisor



We are currently hiring a skilled and experienced Turner Supervisor to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Turner Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of turners to ensure the production of high-quality turned products within the given timeframe.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of turners to ensure smooth and efficient operation on the shop floor
- Review production schedules and assign tasks to team members accordingly
- Monitor and maintain quality standards of turned products through regular inspections
- Train new employees on proper turning techniques and safety protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues that arise during the production process
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of orders within budget constraints
- Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and equipment needed for turning processes
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality standards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Turner in a manufacturing setting
- Proven experience in supervising a team in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of turning techniques, equipment, and materials used in the process
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train team members effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to turning processes
