Preservation Architect - Los Angeles, USA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while adhering to local and national preservation guidelines. This is a contract position with an expected duration of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine their preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for each project, considering budget constraints and relevant regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity of restored buildings
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for restoration projects
- Oversee the implementation of restoration projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule
- Conduct regular inspections during the restoration process to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with preservation guidelines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Preservation Architect, preferably in the USA
- Extensive knowledge of local and national preservation guidelines and regulations
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Los Angeles, USA (candidates must have valid work authorization)
