The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential security risks to our organization's information systems. They will conduct regular vulnerability assessments, monitor network activity, and implement security protocols to protect against cyber attacks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security best practices and be able to effectively communicate recommendations and solutions to management. This is a contract position with a salary of $900 per week, without accommodation but with visa sponsorship. Canadian candidates preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments on our information systems
- Monitor network activity for any potential security threats
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures
- Conduct forensic analysis in the event of a security breach
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in information security
- Communicate security risks and recommendations to management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in information security analysis
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. HIPAA, GDPR)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred:
- Industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience with cloud computing environments (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies (e.g. NIST)
