Surveyor Assistant



We are hiring a Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Surveyor Assistant, you will work closely with our team of surveyors to assist in the collection and analysis of data for various projects. This is a full-time position that does not require any previous experience, making it an ideal opportunity for beginners or non-native speakers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors in collecting and recording data using specialized equipment
- Perform basic calculations and measurements under the guidance of senior surveyors
- Help set up and maintain surveying equipment
- Conduct research and gather information related to surveying projects
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data collected
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in surveying is a plus
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in any local languages is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and ability to use measuring tools accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods of time, often in remote locations

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1800 per month, with potential for growth based on performance.
