Factory Machine Operator in Nakuru, Kenya



We are seeking a skilled Factory Machine Operator to join our growing team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Factory Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines in our factory to produce high-quality products. You will work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the machines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up machines (such as lathes, grinders, milling machines) following production specifications
- Load raw materials into machines and adjust machine settings for optimal performance
- Monitor machine operations and record production data
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production targets are met
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Factory Machine Operator or similar role
- Familiarity with various types of factory machinery and their operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination
- Basic math skills for measurement conversions and calculations
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure

Preferred Requirements:
- Technical degree or certification in machine operation or related field
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with quality control principles
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues

Salary: $1500 per month. This is negotiable based on experience.

Location: This position is based in Nakuru, Kenya. Candidates of Indian nationality who are fluent in English are preferred.
