We are in search of a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team at a luxury restaurant in Mombasa. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, creating and updating menus, training and supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality food production. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-end restaurant, strong leadership skills, and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
- Develop new menus and update existing ones based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure all dishes are prepared to high standards.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Monitor food costs to maintain profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a luxury restaurant.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of different cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Experience creating menus that balance creativity with profitability.
- Understanding of food costs and ability to maintain budgetary goals.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
