Job Title: Turner - Mombasa, Kenya



We are hiring a skilled Turner to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to shape metal workpieces into parts for industrial machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine setup and tooling requirements
- Set up and operate manual or computer-controlled machine tools to perform precision turning, drilling, milling, tapping, honing, broaching and grinding operations
- Inspect workpieces using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner in an industrial setting
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments
- Strong understanding of machining processes and equipment maintenance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.
