Hotel Sales Manager (Mombasa, Kenya)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Mombasa, Kenya. The ideal candidate should have a strong sales background with at least 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy for the hotel. The candidate must have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. This is a fast-paced role that requires multitasking, organization, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and must be willing to travel for business purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities for growth
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other potential customers
- Negotiate contracts with clients to secure profitable deals for the hotel
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, revenue management, and operations to ensure smooth operations and maximize sales opportunities
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
- Attend industry events and trade shows to promote the hotel's services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel sales or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English
- Strong negotiation skills with ability to close deals effectively
- Knowledge of market trends in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to travel for business purposes
- Valid work permit/visa for Mombasa

Salary: $1300 per month
