Head Baker



Our bakery in Eldoret is seeking an experienced and skilled Head Baker to lead our team of bakers and ensure the production of high-quality baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, strong leadership skills, and a creative eye for new and innovative recipes.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the bakery's production, including mixing, baking, decorating, and packaging
- Train and lead a team of bakers to ensure efficient and quality production
- Develop new recipes and products to keep the menu fresh and appealing to customers
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
- Manage schedules to ensure adequate staffing for busy periods
- Keep track of sales data and adjust production accordingly
- Collaborate with management to develop marketing strategies for the bakery

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a professional baker
- Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Creativity in developing new recipes and products
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Eldoret, Kenya. Preference will be given to Kenyan nationals.
