Job Title: Excavator Operator

We are hiring a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Malindi. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment such as excavators to assist with various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an excavator operator and possess a valid license/certification to operate heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain excavators in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the equipment
- Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to supervisors immediately
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed on the job site
- Complete assigned tasks within specified deadlines
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project success

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid license/certification to operate heavy equipment
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an excavator operator
- Experience with various types of excavators preferred
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and diagrams
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and climb for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions precisely
Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
